No. There is no adhesive at all — it holds by static cling against smooth glass. That is exactly why it suits commercial glass: it lifts off clean at the end of the season with no residue and no scraping, so there is nothing for a landlord or cleaner to object to.
That's the whole idea. The inks are non-toxic, there's nothing sticky to get on hands, and a light mist of water lets pieces slide around until they're happy with the placement. Most of our five-star reviews mention exactly this.
Three steps. Clean the glass and mist it lightly with water, peel each piece off the backing sheet and place it where you want it, then smooth out any bubbles with a cloth or your hand. That's it.
Yes. Peel them off gently, lay them flat on the original backing sheet or any smooth paper, and store somewhere cool and dry. Most families get three or more seasons out of a single set.
The design is printed on both faces of the vinyl, so it looks correct whether you're on the street looking in or on the sofa looking out. Cheaper single-sided clings appear mirrored and washed out from the reverse.
It arrives as one 45 × 60cm sheet. Because you separate the pieces and place them individually, you can spread the arrangement out to roughly 65 × 70cm — or cluster it tighter for a smaller pane. It fits most standard windows and glass doors.
Static cling needs a smooth, non-porous surface to grip. They work beautifully on standard windows, glass doors, mirrors and shower screens, but they won't hold reliably on heavily textured, sandblasted or frosted glass.
